Working with the concept of turning 2D to 3D, Monahan's work has really helped me to move forwards, i really like how he can make a 2D image really interesting, and if you saw his work just from the photograph, you'd probably think it's a sculpture....Another thing i really find interesting about his work is the fact that he does very realistic and precise like how i like to do my work. Anish Kapoor
Since i'm now working with reflection, i felt Anish Kapoor was the perfect artist to look at. Working with reflection he often uses the surroundings to create an interesting piece, which i felt really related to my work (it seems like i am doing a really similar thing, but using drawings) I like the scale that Kapoor uses and hope to try something out of this scale in the future, here are some examples of his work.
