It's good to support local artists, you never know when you might become one yourself....I popped down to the Harley Gallery in Worksop, just up the road, and to be honest, it's more up my street than some of the previous exhibitions they've had on. Reminds me of my roots as a drawer. Although, they are basically portraits with no meaning etc behind them. They have a kind of personality which comes across with each individual portrait. You somehow get a feeling about that person and what they are like. (which is actually incredibly hard to capture within a simple drawing. What i found particularly interesting. Sorry about the order of the images, my phone is pretty awful.
