From pictures i have seen the vibrancy that blacklight brings to an exhibition, and it is indeed striking. But for me to take some genuine interest in trying a technique, i need a true and real reason for me to be using it. Not because it is simply "pretty"...nah.
I need to look deeply into understanding UV, from research i have found that mainly neon colours show under the light (and white of course) so i would like to find a deeper connection as to how the eye takes in UV light and how it portrays certain colours. Here are some images i have found, showing several blacklight exhibitions. I also like how the image can be interrupted by objects that don't interact with the light, for instance, the hand in the right image.
