Max alexander-Uses knit in a very interesting way, it's really great, makes me wish that i could do it... The way he uses mixed media is great and adds personality to his work.
I especially like his fully knitted pieces because it has a really consistant and original feel.
Another artist i looked at was Patricia Bown, her work looks really interesting really, your immediate reaction is: "what is it...?" and i know that it's not always a good thing, but in the case it is, her work looks interesting and catches the eye, here are some examples of her work.
She specialises in interior design, construction and installation, i feel she has a really unique interpretation.Typical and traditional knit is not really seen in the way obviously, you normally see it in clothes scarfs etc, but for me, its much harder than i thought i really need to look at the process of how to do it, because everyone else seemed to get the hang of it.
Here are some typical examples of knit you'd see around, if i could ever do anything that good, i'd be without stress! It's worse to see everyone else get the hand when you can't.

I think what i find most interesting about knitting is that it can done with so many different materials and can be done in so many different ways, it's not always the same. I really need to learn so i can interpret it into my own work because it's a very interesting technique.
