I like Jo Berry's use of layering and colours, the fact it looks like cells which makes you curious as to whether that it what they may really look like under close observation. I also like how her work is scientific, which also links into my own practice.Mark Leckey:
I really enjoyed the Mark Leckey show at the contemporary a while ago, and was really inspired by the use of UV, i have wanted to use it for a while because it links in with my theme.
Brian Hart:
I like the idea of "drawing with light" and Brian Hart does just that, although not closely linked into my practice, i like the materials and enjoy it has a similar thought process behind my work.
Andy Pepper:
It's pretty useful to have a tutor where their work inspires you. The optics within the pieces really intrigue me, and i will be looking into holographic art etc within my own practice, i am looking forward to it.
