It was the first time i had visited the Usher Gallery, so i wasn't sure what to expect. Downstairs is filled with older pieces of work, and i was unsure whether i was going to see any contemporary pieces. But i was pleasantly surprised! Upstairs as you continue through, there was a contemporary exhibition featuring multiple artists. Terry Shave, Joe McKay, Garry Fabian Millar and Décosterd and Rahm Associates, were all featured within the exhibition. I particularly enjoyed the pieces featured above because i felt the use of layering relates to my work, also the use of colours.
